Fruity, creamy, frothy and green, the Emerald Dew is an Irish riff on the classic martini cocktail.
Bar Manager, Bartek Halemba of Sheen Falls Lodge looked to the main ingredients of the Emerald Dew to be synonymous with Ireland – whiskey and Bailey’s. Whiskey be it Jameson, Tullamore Dew or Knappogue Castle, gives the cocktail a nice warmth. Meanwhile the other Irish staple Baileys, not only adds sweetness but a richness and depth to this cocktail. He adds a combination of Crème de Cacao Blanc and Green Japanese Melon Midori Liquor for additional sweetness and both ingredients help give the cocktail its bright and verdant hue. The best part? This Emerald Dew will be just as alluring long after the St Patrick’s Day parade is over.
