Thanks to its clever name, the Holistic Hyrdrator may appeal to health fanatics, but it also has all the makings of an ideal warm-weather thirst quencher: coconut water, grapefruit bitters, fresh lime juice and topped with club soda.
Despite the resemblance to non-alcoholic “good for you” drinks, the Holistic Hydrator from Holistic Spirits Co. is not for the sober curious. It features Origen Holistic Spirits Vodka, a rose-hued botanical spirit founded by entrepreneur Amy Holmwood and actor and environmentalist Woody Harrelson. It is infused with a blend of elderberry, muscadine grape, artichoke, and green tea and combines science, sustainability, and artisanal distillation. What this all means is that it benefits you and Mother Earth.
To make the Holistic Hydrator, stir together coconut water, fresh lime juice, grapefruit bitters, and botanical vodka in a highball glass with ice. Leave some wiggle room to top off with club soda.
