To make the Honey Gimlet, simply combine 1 1/2 oz. of gin, 1/2 oz. of lime juice, and 1/2 oz. of honey in a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a strip of orange peel (easily made with a vegetable peeler) and a Maraschino cherry, and voila! You’ve got yourself a perfectly balanced, deliciously complex cocktail that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. gin
  • 1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) honey
  • Orange peel and Maraschino cherry, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine gin, lime juice, and honey in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.
  2. Garnish with a strip of orange peel (made easily with a vegetable peeler) and a Maraschino cherry.
